A long skirt with a gathered bubble hem, cut in a light polyamide blend that carries air rather than weight. The waistband is wide and elastic, the pockets are real, and the puffed hem gives the whole thing a bounce when you walk. It is the summer skirt in our range for anyone who wants volume without a petticoat holding it up.

The volume comes from gathered tiers at the bottom rather than from stiffening or an underskirt, so the shape collapses softly when you sit and springs back when you stand. That also keeps the weight off the waist, which is where a structured bubble skirt usually starts to pull. Air moves through it, which is the point of cutting it in this fabric.
We knit it in a polyamide and spandex blend rather than a cotton weave, because cotton at this volume gets heavy and holds damp. The result is smooth against the leg, dries quickly and does not cling in heat. It is not opaque enough to pass as a lined skirt in direct sun, and we would rather say so than let you find out at a picnic.
A wide high rise waistband with elastic right through it, so there is no zip to sit against your back and no fixed measurement to meet exactly. Two side pockets hold a phone and keys, set where the gathers begin so the weight disappears into the fullness instead of dragging one side down. The band is deep enough not to roll over on itself.
Black, green and light pink. The chart runs five rows and gives a stretched waistband range as well as a flat figure: XL takes a 16 to 18 and stretches from 37.4 to 41.3 inches, 5XL takes a 28 and stretches from 48.4 to 52.4. Length runs 35 to 36.6 inches, so on most heights this reads as a true maxi.
