Five graded sizes with four measurements each, which is more than most dresses in the range get. The steps are close to three inches at the bust and waist, so between two figures you have a real choice rather than a guess.
The ruffle sits at the end of a short sleeve rather than at the shoulder, which covers the top of the arm without adding width across the shoulder line. That is the detail this dress is actually bought for.
With five percent spandex, so it holds a shape and comes out of a suitcase without much argument. Light enough for summer and opaque enough not to need anything underneath.
Black, navy, olive, plum, rose and red as plain colours, plus a set of floral prints. The florals photograph better than the plains and the plains get worn more.
