98.4 inches at XL and 106.3 by 3XL. That is the full sweep of the skirt measured flat, and it explains the drape in the photographs. It is also a lot of fabric in a warm month.
We put wide bands on this one instead of narrow straps, to spread the load. On a garment with this much fabric hanging from the shoulders, a thin strap digs in by the afternoon.
Pleating gathered into a V, which is what gives shape to an otherwise straight cut. The alternative on a plus overall is a straight seam, which reads boxier.
