We do not grade this one to a chart. It is made as one size, which means it is knitted to stretch rather than cut to a figure. If you are at either end of the usual range, read the returns terms before ordering.
Knit thigh highs slide because knit has no grip. A thigh garter clips the cuff and takes the weight, and it is a far cheaper fix than replacing the socks with something that stays up on its own.
The adjuster is metal and the elastic is nylon, with sealed edges at the ends. Plastic sliders on this kind of belt are what fail first, usually at the worst moment.
Both straps buckle up and down, so the same belt works on a thigh that changes through the day and across different sock lengths. We give the minimum and the maximum in centimetres as well as inches.
Most of the plus size acrylic and cotton thigh highs here have nothing holding them up. This is the part that makes those work for a full day rather than a couple of hours.
